Personal Experience With Health Care Essay - 1553 Words

I have personally been affected by the mess that America calls a health system. In the same year, I had severe food poisoning and my stomach and intestines swelled. I had to be hospitalized for a day each, and was then sent home, even though I was still very ill. The reason? My family has no health coverage. For example, in the state and country prisons and jails, inmates get totally free care of doctors equal to what a civilian would have to pay for. Guantanamo Bay, a US Naval base is used as a prison to put nation â₠¬â€œ threatening terrorists in. There, they get totally free health care and check ups. This is odd because, even though more than 46 million people in America do not have health coverage, our nation finds it justice toShow MoreRelatedMy Philosophy Of Nursing : A Personal Experience I Encounted With The Health Care System1757 Words   |  8 PagesMy philosophy of nursing closely relates to a personal experience I encounted with the health care system.
